| Thomas | Gary | Michele |
| Thomas is your normal average guy that just happens to have a creative brain that won’t shut up. If he isn’t creating something for a freelance gig it’s a safe bet he’s got an over-the-top project cooking in his head. Considering himself to be a “realist” Thomas can come across as cynical and hard headed at times but tends to put his friend’s problems ahead of his own most of the time. Thomas primarily makes a living as a freelance artist as he’s trying to figure out what to do to open his own design firm. | Gary is Thomas’s best friend. The two have known each other since eighth grade and have experienced pretty much every major event in their lives together. Gary is an analytical thinker that acts with logic and reasoning until he steps into the virtual arena of MMORPGs and online gaming. He makes his living as a high school history teacher while chasing his dream of creating music for video games and movies. | Michele and Thomas met in college where they dated for a very brief time. Upbeat and cheerful, Michele is instantly likable by everyone she meets. She owns Hugo the Cat and Harley D.Og. Michele makes a living by working as a travel agent for the smallest agency in town. She spends much of her free time playing video games that do not connect in any way to the internet. Michele, too, is a graphic designer and lends Thomas a helping hand on freelance gigs from time to time. |

| Robot Friday | Hugo the Cat | Harley D. Og |
| Little is known about the machine that lends it’s name to the comic. Thomas acquired Friday from an old Chinese man in trade for some design work when he first began freelancing. Friday currently functions as Thomas’s radio alarm clock and is especially fond of upbeat contemporary soft rock. Friday has exhibited erratic behavior when damaged or tuned to sad music. He is currently powered off. | Hugo is Michele’s very temperamental, and often arrogant, pet cat. He believes himself to be smarter than anyone else in the room but is often times wrong. He is constantly scheming to avoid being dressed up by Michele in accessory clothing or photographed and filmed for the internet (which he considers an egregious violation of his privacy). | Harley is Michele’s brand new pet Chihuahua. Harley and Hugo do not necessarily get along, but when things get rough they are always there for each other. Harley likes the clothes that Michele dresses him in and is very fashion savvy (for a dog). He has a sharp, dry witty attitude that can be interpreted as charming arrogance. Harley considers himself very much Hugo’s superior. Hugo and Harley can only understand each other when they speak and they are completely clueless as to what the humans are saying most of the time. |

| Karen | Jeff | Leonard |
| Karen is the owner and creator of the Chocolate Bean hot chocolate brand. She currently owns and runs one of the brands hot cocoa stores in town. Karen is very much her own person. She is formally trained as a graphic designer. During her college years she painted a series of oil paintings that she licenses for use to hang in the lobbies of large corporations and hotels. Karen is very smart, witty, charming and flirty. She recently began playing MMORPGs. She, Thomas and Gary first met on the street outside her store one evening. | Jeff is a college friend of Gary’s and his fraternity brother. When Jeff is not found at the local pub he is often online playing any number of console games. Jeff knows just about everyone in town. He is very sociable, quick witted with a dry humor. He looks down on MMORPGs. | Leonard is a regular at Karen’s Chocolate Bean hot cocoa store. He loves to spin yarns about “the good ol’ days” and insult virtually everyone younger than him. Leonard is very grumpy, completely politically incorrect and very opinionated. If he had a bucket of rocks he would most assuredly throw them at you. |
