To close out the week I give you Penny from Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog! I really had a good time drawing this one. I mean, I always have a good time drawing all the sketches I do (for the most part). But in this one I think a lot of the things I have been doing to try and gel the character designs came together and it has the character and feel I’ve been looking for.

On the character front, I will probably be doing most of the sketches over the next month centered around Robot Friday characters. As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, I want to get the designs a little more solid before I start the strip back up again and now that I feel like I know where I want to go with the designs I just need to get there. Hopefully I can do that this coming month.
