Hey everyone. Whether you’re a long time reader or new to the archives you can tell that since the beginning date of the strip the comic has steadily increased in quality. I am proud of this fact. I am proud that despite having very little practice in drawing cartoons I have been able to consistently increase either the look or the writing of the comic, if not by leaps and bounds, but in small steps with each new update.

Because of this, I have been putting some thought into my update schedule for a while now and today I have come to a decision. I am going to scale back one day of my update schedule. The new update schedule for the strip will now be Mondays and Wednesdays.

With my current work schedule at the “day job” and the fact that my freelance schedule is on a steady increase, updating two days at the beginning of the week will leave the rest of the week open to get everything I need to do done and leave me ample time to increase the artwork and writing on the comic as well.

What I am wanting to accomplish in the next six months with the comic is to up the quality in color, background and the line drawings. I also want to improve my storytelling such as panel compositions and strip layouts. Hopefully this new update schedule will help me to achieve these goals much faster than updating three days a week would. So, in short, no new comic today. I will be working hard over the weekend, though, on Monday’s comic – in fact I have already begun drawing it. Thanks again everyone for supporting me and the comic and thanks for voting on TWC too.

Hey everybody. I have added a Live Journal link to the right hand side bar of the site, finally. So if you have a Live Journal account feel free to add me as a friend and give me a shout and I will return the favor. If you follow my Twitter feed you will know that I have been posting random sketches and stuff to my Live Journal for a while now. I plan on stepping up the posts as well as contributing more to my Youtube presence in the near future (don’t forget to subscribe).

I have also got a ton of new plans for the site and the comic in the coming months. Many things I have posted about in the past but for the near future I want to get a PayPal incentive program onto the site, some link banners and buttons among other things.

This summer promises to be one hell of a blast with Robot Friday’s first ever epic comic EVENT. Plus maybe some give aways and contests. Just keep checking in on the comic, voting on TWC and spreading the word
